All field trips will be walking or by District transportation. Students must be transported by district vehicles while in the care of GCSD. A parent may take a child home after a field trip in their own vehicle, provided they have obtained prior written permission.
Parents will be notified well in advance of the times and places of any field trips.
For each field trip, a permission slip must be signed, showing the location, time, and skills/knowledge to be gained or practiced.
Prior arrangements will be made for children with medical or mobility needs.
