Parents/Guardians: Today May 12th there will be a Multi Agency Walk Through Training at the High School from 1-4p.m. We are doing Multi Agency training to ensure the Safety of the students and staff. Please don't be alarmed of all the Emergency vehicles in the Parking lot. This is just a training.

We want to hear about your experience with your student’s education. We invite you to participate in the Utah School Climate Survey. This survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the institutional environment and your personal involvement in school. Your responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.

GCSD sent out a text to all parents and guardians yesterday notifying families about the lockdown. If you did not receive this text, please log into Aspire or reach out to your campus secretary to verify that your mobile phone number is up to date in our system. Thank you for helping us to ensure that we are able to contact all families effectively.

The lockdown is over. There was no threat. Everyone is safe and accounted for. Multiple hoax calls have claimed active shooter situations in various schools throughout the state. These calls are taken very seriously and are immediately looked into by law enforcement agencies. We ask the public to please stay calm as our local law enforcement partners have not verified the validity of these accusations and are currently looking into the origin of these calls.
