Grand County Education Foundation (GCEF) receives grant money to provide Grand County School District with a new data collecting software. The FCA foundation awarded GCEF grant money for the school district to purchase Panorama Education, an organization that helps educators collect data and use it to improve student outcomes in multiple areas, including social-emotional learning.
This program allows the district to evaluate student’s social and emotional readiness, along with the students’ strength and weaknesses, allowing students and teachers to cohesively work within each student’s academic and social development. This program will be used by 300 teachers and administered to 1,200 students.
“We are very thankful to the Grand County Education Foundation and FCA for their partnership on this important grant. The Panorama Program will provide powerful analytics which will allow us to tailor strategies so that we can hone in on each students’ needs,” said Cari Caylor, Middle School Principal.
